Story Starter Machine

Please use this story starter machine to write me an interesting short story. You may spin the wheel a few times to see what kinds of options you might have.

Please do your rough copy in your journal, and your good copy on loose leaf.

Thank you!

Number 11 is missing because it is the superword for the week. No one figured it out in class today, so I have assigned it for homework. I will fill it in tomorrow when someone gets it.

Please go to my teacher links and read a pro-tv article in our webquest. We will be working on our persuasive essays for the rest of the week.

This is a link to the leapfrog challenge we tried today. Enjoy!

Monday, November 10

Homework folders for this week will go home on Thursday and will be expected back by the following Wednesday, November 19th. This is because we have two short weeks in a row.

Students and parents are reminded that there is no school tomorrow, November 11th. Good luck to all parents who will be fishing tomorrow!

There is also no school on Thursday, November 20th, and Friday, November 21st. Report cards will be going home on Monday, November 17th, and parent-teacher interviews will be on Wednesday, November 19th.

Grades 5 and 6 will be having a Math test on THURSDAY this week. They should study from their grade 5 math books, using SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW as the base for their review.

A big welcome to Alicia! Welcome back! It's nice to have you in our class again!
